Swetlana Geier has translated Dostoyevsky's five most important novels, the "5 elephants". Now this over 80 years old woman is traveling for the first time back from her adopted country Germany to the places of her youth in the Ukraine. Her life was clouded by Europe's unsteady past. By transcribing the Russian language into German, she found a new spiritual home, which helps her to overcome sorrow and pain.
