Synopsis

Hercli Bundi takes us onto the black ice of money. There we meet the bank director, the national banker and the fintech guru. But we also meet the publisher couple, the bank robber, the artist, the philosopher and a priestess. Despite the depth of focus and complexity of the content, the film breathes. It shows the beauty of money. The music creates a positive, feel-good atmosphere. And in long, calm tracking shots, the film shows goods and how they are produced, moved and traded. These goods are reality. They are in front of the money. Not behind it. First comes the cow, then the credit. The film OUR MONEY poses the question: What is the true value of money? Who is allowed to create it and who is responsible for it? Or is it just an illusion in the end?
