Biography

During my studies of Social Anthropology I discovered Visual Anthropology and film as one of its research methods. As a result I decided to make a documentary film about forms of homeland between Switzerland and the Czechia as part of my Master's thesis. I perceive documentary film as a tool that can offer the audience a surface for reflection, creating a space for an open exchange of opinions.

I am particularly inspired by poetic, political and experimental documentary films that make people think. For me these are for example the film essay "Koyaanisqatsi" by Godfrey Reggio, "Taming the Garden" by Salomé Jashi and "Vera" by Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel.
