Developing and producing films involves shaping realities.
Since 2012, I have been producing documentary films with Mira Film that consistently push the boundaries of the medium. From the activist energy of Everyday Rebellion and the quiet poetry of The Beekeeper and His Son to the cultural resonance of Blue Note Records: Beyond the Notes — I am fascinated by the transformation of an idea into a powerful narrative.
I am inspired by works that masterfully combine form and content, such as Jennifer Fox’s Flying, Werner Penzel and Nicolas Humbert’s Step Across the Border, and Vadim Jendreyko’s The Woman with the Five Elephants.
I view production as a collective process: as a producer, I create the structure in which directorial visions can flourish. I am passionate about films that resonate with an audience — stories in which we recognise ourselves and that compel us to take a closer look.
