Synopsis

Director Miriam Pucitta grew up as a child of Italian guest workers in Switzerland in the 1960s and 70s. She herself has only fragmentary memories of this time; her mother and other relatives avoid Miriam's questions. Together with her daughter Giulia, she researches the living conditions of her family in Switzerland and finds a new understanding for her parents' difficult decisions.
